Professional Audio Engineering in the Heart of Melbourne

Founded in 2018, Banaedgezen was established to bridge the gap between home production and commercial sonic standards. Based in Melbourne's CBD, we provide a dedicated environment where independent artists, bedroom producers, and small labels can achieve a polished, radio-ready sound without compromising their creative vision.

Our Technical Philosophy

We believe that great audio engineering is a balance of technical precision and musical intuition. Our approach is transparent and collaborative; we work as an extension of your creative process rather than imposing a generic "studio sound." By focusing on the structural integrity of the mix and the spectral balance of the master, we ensure your music translates across all playback systems, from club PAs to smartphone speakers.

Our workflow is designed for the modern era of music production. While we operate primarily as an online studio to accommodate clients globally, we maintain a physical control room in Melbourne for critical listening and final quality control. This hybrid model allows us to maintain rigorous standards while offering the flexibility of remote collaboration.

Meet the Engineering Team

Our studio is led by a small team of specialists, each focusing on a specific stage of the audio pipeline to ensure that every track receives expert attention.

  • Daniel White: Studio Director & Lead Engineer. Daniel oversees the technical direction of the studio and handles complex project architecture.
  • Emily Taylor: Mixing & Vocal Production Specialist. Emily focuses on clarity, spatial positioning, and the intricate details of vocal tuning and presence.
  • Amelia Evans: Mastering Engineer & Quality Control. Amelia ensures that the final product meets industry loudness standards and maintains tonal balance.

How We Work

The process begins with a detailed analysis of your stems or pre-mix. We follow a strict set of technical requirements—including a minimum sample rate of 44.1kHz and 24-bit depth—to ensure no data is lost during processing. Once the files are received, we enter the creative phase, applying surgical EQ, dynamic control, and spatial effects.

Every project includes a set number of revision rounds to ensure the final result aligns with your expectations. We provide the final masters in high-resolution WAV and MP3 formats, accompanied by a technical report on LUFS and true peak levels for distribution.
